Stress in cats

On November 25, 2022, it was the second time that we attended the webinar of Ms. Dorota Szadurska ℹ️ who is both a cat behaviourist and cat behaviour therapist.

ℹ️ Graduate of the Psychology of Animal Behaviour at the Polish Academy of Sciences, Member of the International Society of Animal Professionals, FIFe Feline judge for all categories ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This time the webinar focused on: “Stress in cats. Causes and Prevention.”

It can be tricky to spot signs of stress in cats as they are not always obvious and can be confused with simple fatigue and dissatisfaction. As a consequence, it can result in depression and other diseases. Therefore, we should not underestimate the signs of stress and, above all, ensure our cat’s well-being. It is our role to improve cat’s well-being and satisfy their needs, which include:

✔️ the need to play and satisfy the hunting instinct,

✔️ the need to feel safe,

✔️ the need to scratch and climb,

✔️ the need for optimal nutrition,

✔️ the need for rest and peaceful sleep.

In the near future, we will continue webinars on strictly behavioural topics. We want to know more about our cats and their needs, because we really  want them to live a happy life with us.
